Pondless Waterfall If you want a waterfall without the maintenance of a waterfall, then maybe the pondless waterfall is for you. In a pondless waterfall the water flows over the stones down into an invisible reservoir and is pumped back up to the top to recirculate back up to the top of the waterfall. With a Pondless waterfall there is not the chance of a child playing in a possibly drowning because there is no standing body of water.
